I recently found out, there is a better way!<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft Store guys have <a href=\"http:\/\/images2.store.microsoft.com\/prod\/clustera\/framework\/w7udt\/1.0\/en-us\/Windows7-USB-DVD-tool.exe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Windows 7 USB\/DVD Download Tool<\/a> which makes creating USB media for installation easy.<\/p>\n<p>The first step is to download and install the tool.<\/p>\n<p>Once you do that, launch the tool and select source ISO file. Click next:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bhargavs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/win7usb1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px\" title=\"win7usb1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"win7usb1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bhargavs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/win7usb1-thumb.jpg\" width=\"244\" height=\"131\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Next, select \u201cUSB Device\u201d in media type:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bhargavs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/win7usb2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px\" title=\"win7usb2\" border=\"0\" alt=\"win7usb2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bhargavs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/win7usb2-thumb.jpg\" width=\"244\" height=\"131\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>In Step 3, select appropriate USB device from the list and click \u201cBegin Copying\u201d. Make sure your USB drive is empty or you have back up of data contained on the USB device:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bhargavs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/win7usb3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px\" title=\"win7usb3\" border=\"0\" alt=\"win7usb3\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bhargavs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/win7usb3-thumb.jpg\" width=\"244\" height=\"131\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Confirm erase operation. When you click \u201cErase USB Device\u201d, it will format the device before copying the files to it. You should see the progress window while it copies the files to USB device for you:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bhargavs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/win7usb4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px\" title=\"win7usb4\" border=\"0\" alt=\"win7usb4\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bhargavs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/win7usb4-thumb.jpg\" width=\"244\" height=\"131\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Once the process completes, remove the USB, insert it on the computer where you need to install Windows 7 and start the computer.
